The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct dismissed complaints, with case numbers #22-0417 and #22-0420, against Texas 214th District Court Judge Inna Klein on Friday, August 12, 2022.

This happened just days after she was ordered to recuse herself by an intermediate appellate court in several criminal cases.

The complaints resulted from claims that Klein and others used a surveillance system in her court manager’s office to watch jury deliberations.

A letter from the commission states:

“During its meeting on August 11, 2022, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct concluded its review of the above-referenced complaints. The Commission considered the facts and circumstances together with the information you provided in your written responses to the Commission’s inquiry. After a thorough review, as mandated by the laws concerning its procedures, the Commission voted to dismiss the complaints based on the corrective actions you took to address the concerns surrounding the recording of jury deliberations.”

The Judge’s courtroom address is 901 Leopard Street in Corpus Christi, and can be reached at (361) 888-0463. https://www.nuecesco.com/courts/district-courts/214th-district-court-f/judge-klein
