On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the Judicial Council of the District of Columbia Circuit denied the petition for review of an order issued by Chief Circuit Judge Srinivasan dismissing a complaint against a former judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and two Judges of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Unnamed Judges” with case no. DC-22-90002; DC-22-90003, and DC-22-90004.

A petition for review on the order of the dismissal of a charge of judicial misconduct or disability against unnamed judges: a former judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and two Judges of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia was filed before the Judicial Council of the District of Columbia Circuit. This is in relation to an order issued by Chief Circuit Judge Srinivasan on January 9, 2023, dismissing the said complaint.

After some contemplation of the council, and for the reasons set forth in the memorandum accompanying the Chief Circuit Judge’s order, the Judicial Council decided that the disposition of the Chief Circuit Judge dismissing the said complaint is affirmed, thereby denying the petition for review of the said order filed by the complainant pursuant to Rule 19(b)(1) of the Rules for Judicial-Conduct and Judicial-Disability Proceedings.
