On Sunday, December 1, 2024, WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News reported that a former judge from Carroll County, Tennessee, is facing legal charges.

Larry Logan, aged 78, was taken into custody at the Carroll County Jail on Saturday afternoon. He has been charged with one count of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and another count for possession of a handgun while driving under the influence. Logan’s bond has been set at $150,000.

Logan was booked and subsequently released on the same day.

Logan has had a long career in the judiciary, having served for over 40 years as a judge in both general sessions and juvenile court in Carroll County. The charges against him mark a significant turn in a lengthy public service career. Further details regarding the circumstances of his arrest have not been disclosed.
